In this article, we will explain the process of unlocking (unbanning) an account with a serial number on the MTA server.
Step 1: Go to the server control panel.
Step 2: Click the “Management” button next to your server. Then go to the “FTP” tab, where you will find the necessary information. If you are unfamiliar with the FTP connection process, we have provided instructions.
Step 3: After successfully connecting to FileZilla (FTP), navigate to the mods/deathmatch folder. In this folder, you will find a file named “banlist.xml”.
Step 4: You can choose one of two options:
– Simple method: Delete the “banlist.xml” file.
– Complex method: Open the “banlist.xml” file using a program like Notepad, for example. Then, locate your account and delete the corresponding line. Afterward, save the changes to the file.
Step 5: Return to the console in the server control panel. Enter the command “reloadbans”. After entering this command, you will see the message in the console: “reloadbans: Ban List successfully reloaded”.
